Dennis from England
Stayed at the Soete Huys on three seperate occasions. Everything is as it says in the brochure, along with the warmth and friendship of the host's Reg and Nancy.
A great place to relax, enjoy the peace and tranyuillity or take the short walk down the lane to the Bell Inn Pub. sample the great food and beverage while you watch all the latest sport live on multi channel TV.

What a lovely place, with such friendly hosts. The setting is tranquil and absolutely beautiful. I wish we could've stayed longer to enjoy the tranquility some more.

Situated on the edge of town, slightly elevated with lovely views across the sloping lawns and swimming pool of the surrounding mountains, Soete Huys proved to be an excellent choice for my overnight stay in Wellington. The en-suite rooms were very comfortable and private and the hosts charming and friendly, without being obtrusive. And, for those who know how hot it gets in Wellington in summer, the fact that it was significantly cooler than the town below was a major bonus!

I had a wonderful time on a business trip staying in this cozy family-run guest house with beautiful view of the Paarl Mountains. There is easy access to the entire Paarl and Wellington Area.

Its an ideal hide-away for the no-frills business traveler, looking to combine business with some rest and quiet. I highly recommend it.
