For the traveller a spot to rest and have a fantastic lunch. The menu is something else. Not the normal "burger, steak and chips" I had pork belly in honey with potato mash and red cabbage. Atmosphere is calm.

Just stopped in to check out the Restaurant for an intended lunch of motorbiking friends in 2 weeks time. Instead, we tested the Farmstall. Steve seems to have pastry in his veins - the Millionaire's shortbread has a delicious layer of liquid toffee tucked in between - an unexpected pleasure! Jeanne said that he used to make fruit cake for Buckinham Palace - it certainly is fit for a Queen and the coffee wasn't bad either.

We'll be back for that loooong lunch with them in 2 weeks time. Looking forward to that.

Do not pass through the picturesque area of Swellendam without stopping off at Stormsvlei Farm Stall & Restaurant just off the N2. With a scrumptious menu, excellent service with a personal touch and a friendly atmosphere you cannot go wrong. Only the best quality and locally sourced fresh produce used and they serve the best cheesecake in the whole of the Western Cape. Some products used in the menu are available for purchase in the lovely farm stall section which is a great idea. This place is a gem and well worth a visit !!!

Just off the main road (N2). This place has some of the best Sunday breakfasts and roasts going, They back their own bread and all produce is sourced from local suppliers so its fresh and very tasty.

The service is friendly and attentive without being over bearing. Its a great place to stop into, grab lunch and a beer while sitting outside in the sunny beautiful garden while surrounded by trees. It has a cosy lounge/bar area too if you just fancy a refreshing drink on you journey.

Recommendation is the Mushrooms and Bacon o toast for breakfast!

Restauarant with delicious food, friendly, helpful staff with a lovely area at the back to sit outside, looking out onto a gorgeous garden, very picturesque. A real find while driving along the N2, saw the signs, and weren't too sure about stopping but so glad we did. The fishcakes were very tasty. We would definitely stop here again and stay longer.
