“A story of two nines”
Review of Erinvale Golf Club

Erinvale Golf Club
Reviewed February 23, 2013

Erinvale is an excellently manicured golf course in a brilliant setting. Both nines play differently, meaning the round is in no way monotonous. The Helderberg mountains in the background remind the golfer that they are fortunate to be able to play in a location not only epitomised by a great golf challenge, but also a wonderfull setting.

this is an excellent club with a good interesting testing couse of 18 holes with some spectacular views particularly on the back nine holes. it is well maintained and there is really no holes which are too close to others and the properties although close are well planned.wew would recommend this as an interesting course and well worth playing.

I have played all courses around Cape Town but the price paid for green fee and value of signature course of Gary Player does not match. You better play Westlake for the same quality for half the price. I am a single HCP and greens are to soft (to much water and need urgent verdicutting). Bunkers are not even filled with sand, what would younexpect froma Gary Player ... Driving range with poor hitting surface and bad maitenance. Custoer service not very poor, we were pushed to the back nine, as we were running 5 minutes late. They are pushing on cash and not quality. If you speak to someone responsible, just rude. It is a nice course layout but cannot recommend it for the money and not excisting service. Gary would not be happy about it!

A difficult course, but also a forgiving one. I loved it.
The view is incredible with the mountains andthe sea. You simply must try this course.

Beautiful course, tends to be a wet course so not best to play in bad weather. The support staff are superb and the amneties fabulous.
