We visited Lourensford Wine Estate for the Kamersvol Geskenke event and were blown away. Upon driving in, you are greeted by rich, fresh, flowing trees on either side of the road and landscaped gardens. Friendly staff, great tasting rose and awonderful experience. I want to get married there one day, thats for sure!

We called in here knowing very little about it and found a great restaurant serving good breakfasts and it was really busy on a Saturday morning so obviously popular with locals.

We then had a wine tasting with a very knowledgeable and helpful lady who explained all about the different wines and arranged for some (including their very good sparkling wine that we had drunk at breakfast) to the UK.

Our only disappointment was that the manor house is not open to visitors

Just great relaxing to be had here. Beautiful, and relaxing and a play area for the kids. Open plan, so they can run outside while you sit and eat something. Loved it.

Everything was great! We had a very interesting wine tasing and they have lovely chocolates to compliment the wine. We had a wonderful afternoon at the estate. Their wines are lovely and I would recommend Lourensford to any tourist visiting South Africa.

The estate also has a restuarant with a lovely menu.
