We had a most enjoyable meal here. The food was of a very high standard and was delicious. The views of the winelands and coast from the restaurant are amazing. Instead of dessert we had some of their own cheese and a wine tasting. We would definitely go back there again.

On a bluff , high up in the vine covered hills overlooking the Hottentot Holland mountain range and down to the ocean there sits a modern double storied restaurant with floor to ceiling windows giving a 210 degree vista of the coast of False Bay and The Cape of Good Hope. Is this the finest panorama restaurant in the Southern Cape - if not I should love to know what is .

The food matches the location: it is modern , expertly crafted, beautifully conceived and constructed and a pleasure from first mouthful. I had a trio of porcine 'custard' that was the epitome of the fungi. My wife had the duck which she said was 'sublime'. We have eaten in most of the best restaurants in the Cape, and this was amongst the very best.

Congratulations to the French Chef and his brigade who cook in an open kitchen. They are producing some of the best food in the Cape in a location that matches their skill. and the views from the restaurant, especially at night are simply stunning.

Not for the faint-hearted : You can choose between a two course or a five course meal. Palet cleansers in-between courses are complimentary. The view is spectacular. Decor modern. Wine from the Cellar. Very private.

Visited this hilltop location today after reading rave reviews on this site. We all (4) agreed that the architecture is 'different' but not in our view outstanding or worthy of the awards it has received. One major complaint would be that, due to the design of the building and the lack of soft furnishings, the acoustics are such that conversation is restricted.
The view from the Restaurant is impressive but many other wine farms in the Western Cape also have impressive views.
We found the meals on offer were standard fare for the more upmarket wine farms, the menu is fairly limited and the price was as expected. Service was good but not exceptional. The Circle of Life White and Red wines are very good.
Travelled from Cape Town for this visit but would not make a repeat journey.
