Not such a great welcome on arrival but waiter turned out to be very attentive.More of a pub atmosphere than restaurant but quite busy for a Saturday night in winter. Fixed menu including 3 courses and a bottle of wine per couple for R150 was very well priced.Three of our party of five went for this option and they enjoyed the meal. I had the Calamari starter which was very bland and tasteless, no sauces of any kind to accompany it. However the 300gm fillet with blue cheese sauce turned out to be perfectly cooked and extremely appetising.Only let down were the soggy over cooked THICK chips which tasted of oil. Why no fries, thin, fresh and crispy, not sure!
Deserts were excellent but the wine list was very wishy washy, half of them not even heard of the Estates and prices for good wines totally out of line! This is my second visit, first time when they opened a few years ago probably go again within a similar time frame!
