Had both dinner as well as breakfast at this supurb eatery. It's clear that the owners are really passionate about food...and it shows in every dish. From the home-made pasta to the fresh seafood dishes, each one just brilliant. The deserts are to-die-for. I highly recommend the mud pie or cheese cake. Neither will disappoint.

For breakfast...give an omelette a go. They all seem well worth it.

The owners Peter and Alma are great folks and welcome any comments from their guests. These guys really have a good thing going and I can't wait to go back.

My wife and I were staying at the Lake Pleasant Hotel (Beautiful home away from home amidst the beauty of the garden route) and decided to try the restaurant based on the reviews. We were impressed! The restaurant plating and food is great! We had the mussels and tiger prawn main dishes and loved them both.

It is great to see a great chef takeoff on her own and we should all be more instrumental in supporting and enjoying this talent in food!

We were looking for a quick bite to eat and a mix between breakfast and lunch! Chef Alma's did not disappoint!

Firstly, on both occasions we had the same waitress who was very friendly and super efficient.

This visit, we tried the breakfast special, scones and butternut/carrot soup Moroccan style. All really good. Soup delicious!!

Will definitely go back again!

When camping at the Lake Pleasant resort, and not in the mood to make your own dinner, head over to the restaurant you see on your right as you enter the resort. You won't be disappointed. On Wednesday evenings they have a curry buffet, and it is the best I ever had. the fireplace is warm and comfortable, and we went for breakfast, and sat there after breakfast whiling our time away till lunch, reading, chatting, just being mellow. The staff and owners are friendly and helpful.
