We arrived in Robertson convinced that we would only stay one night, as it seemed to be a quiet, almost deserted town to us. At the Touristinformationoffice we found 3 nice options to stay and started our tour at The Robertson Small Hotel. We were immediately charmed by the pleasant welcome of the receptionist and the charming building and room. We never visited the other 2 options. Because of this hotel we stayed another 2 nights in Robertson and we were almost sad to leave. What a great feel good place! I like small hotels in the first place, don't like the huge ones. All people that work in The Robertson Small Hotel know how to deal with guests: friendly, very decent but not too formal and serviceminded. The location and rooms are nicely decorated and clean (clean after breakfast, tidy after dinner). Airco and wifi worked good, always a good connection (and fortunately no passwords to repeat). All international power plugs in room. Nice bathroomproducts and towels. Nice en strong rainshower. Good (daily) stocked minibar (free). Extensive breakfast. Good restaurant. Private guarded parking. Car washed. And so on. A place to come back for. And honestly, Robertson is not the city that never sleeps, but it's a lovely town in very nice surroundings.

Room Tip: 4 different types of rooms. 3 in the manor house, 4 next to swimmingpool 1, 2 next to swimmingpool 2...

This was my 2nd visit to The Robertson Small Hotel and I would go every week if I could. The rooms along the pool are to die for, huge comfy beds, stunning spic and span bathrooms, the gardens and pool are are the best and the mini-bar with wine, beer and cool drinks comes inclusive of your rate. The staff are friendlty and helpful and the breakfasts a real treat. Try the Eggs Benedic with frshly squeezed juices. Love this little spot.

Room Tip: The rooms along the pool are the best, the rooms in the manor house are noisy.

We only spent one night in this hotel and wished we could have stayed longer!! Everything was perfect... We stayed in the manor house and the room was lovely and spacious. Next time we are going to try one of the pool rooms though as these looked lovely. The service was amazing and little hidden extras really made our break special. E.g. car washed before we left, little leaving gift, free mini bar etc... The hotel was spotless and very comfortable. We will be back!

Room Tip: We stayed in manor house room which was lovely. For a more romantic / private experience go for a po...

Lovely hotel in the middle of nowhere. We arrived and were welcomed with a lovely refreshing drink. All staff very willing to help and offered us a different menu to allow us to have lunch as on a Sunday they only have one menu. We were unfortunate not to be able to enjoy the pool areas due to the weather but they look fabulous. Dinner in the evening was delicious. Rooms are serviced impeccably.

Room Tip: We were unfortunate to have a room at the front of the property and next to reception. We should hav...

Our expectations were high when we booked and we were not disappointed. The food at the restaurant is excellent and lived up to Ruben's reputation. However the servings were far too generous for our liking - even at breakfast, which was a meal not be skipped!
All in all a special experience with attentive service and concern for our enjoyment.
We can recommend a stay.

Room Tip: While the Manor House room was lovely - spacious and well-equipped - we would like to try one of th...

We spent 2 glorious nights at this very special hotel in the heart of the Robertson Wine Route. The hotel is a beautifully restored house with modern additions. We stayed in one of the manor suites. The room was spacious, luxurious and beautifully appointed. Although it is a bit noisy, it didn't detract from our wonderful stay. The bathroom is spacious with a freestanding bath, walk in shower, 2 basins, all of the highest quality. The food is beautifully prepared, tasty and very innovative. The service all round is outstanding and the staff really make you feel pampered.
I will definitely return if we are in the area again.

Room Tip: Pool room I would think are the beys but not very private during the day when people are sitting at...
