We only spent one night in this hotel and wished we could have stayed longer!! Everything was perfect... We stayed in the manor house and the room was lovely and spacious. Next time we are going to try one of the pool rooms though as these looked lovely. The service was amazing and little hidden extras really made our break special. E.g. car washed before we left, little leaving gift, free mini bar etc... The hotel was spotless and very comfortable. We will be back!

Room Tip: We stayed in manor house room which was lovely. For a more romantic / private experience go for a po...

Lovely hotel in the middle of nowhere. We arrived and were welcomed with a lovely refreshing drink. All staff very willing to help and offered us a different menu to allow us to have lunch as on a Sunday they only have one menu. We were unfortunate not to be able to enjoy the pool areas due to the weather but they look fabulous. Dinner in the evening was delicious. Rooms are serviced impeccably.

Room Tip: We were unfortunate to have a room at the front of the property and next to reception. We should hav...

Our expectations were high when we booked and we were not disappointed. The food at the restaurant is excellent and lived up to Ruben's reputation. However the servings were far too generous for our liking - even at breakfast, which was a meal not be skipped!
All in all a special experience with attentive service and concern for our enjoyment.
We can recommend a stay.

Room Tip: While the Manor House room was lovely - spacious and well-equipped - we would like to try one of th...

We spent 2 glorious nights at this very special hotel in the heart of the Robertson Wine Route. The hotel is a beautifully restored house with modern additions. We stayed in one of the manor suites. The room was spacious, luxurious and beautifully appointed. Although it is a bit noisy, it didn't detract from our wonderful stay. The bathroom is spacious with a freestanding bath, walk in shower, 2 basins, all of the highest quality. The food is beautifully prepared, tasty and very innovative. The service all round is outstanding and the staff really make you feel pampered.
I will definitely return if we are in the area again.

Room Tip: Pool room I would think are the beys but not very private during the day when people are sitting at...

We spent 3 nights of pure relaxation in perfect luxury. The ambiance and luxury is accompanied by personel service and friendly and attentive staff. The hospitality of the area is evident in every staff member. Little touches such as a complimentary mini bar and car wash was much appreciated. The restuarant serves great food and the well maintained old property makes for a special stay. Thank you to Charmaine and her team for making our stay a memorable one, we hope to return soon.

Room Tip: The pool side suite is the best

The Robertson hotel is a lot bigger than it looks from the street, and this just seems to be the character of the hotel... everything is just a bit better than you expect. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone spending time in the winelands or in South Africa in general and certainly hope to stay there again.
