A magnificent stretch of road that skirts the shoreline. The views of the sea and the towering mountains are absolutely stunning.
One can continue to Chapman's Peak and Noordhoek for a breathtaking trip one will not easily forget. Highly recommended.

All the roads around the coast are stunning but some stand out like Chapmans And Clarence Drive. Some you find yourselves travelling both ways just to enjoy it fully.

This is a must do while in the Cape area - I recommend driving down to the southern points of the Cape on the eastern side. The different views of the beaches and towns of False Bay are quite beautiful.

On the way back, enjoy the road back on the western side of the Cape. There is something primal about the southern most beaches: huge expanses of white sand and fierce surf. As you travel north, the beaches become more civilized but no less beautiful. Add the the gorgeous mountain peaks and you'll be wishing you'd hired a driver so that you didn't have to pay attention to the road. If you did not hire a driver, keep it safe by stopping at the many pull offs along the way to give your full attention to the lovely scenery.

Whether you approach it from the heights above Camps Bay or from the Hout Bay, this is one stunning piece of scenery. Catch it in the sunlight with a gorgeous turquoise sea or when the wind is up and the waves come crashing into shore, it is sure to blow your mind.
