It was a cold and rainy day but the atmosphere was warm and inviting when we arrived at the Wharfside Grill. A dish of yummy fried calamari followed up with the most amazing prawns with garlic butter sauce. A charming young waiter made our visit even more memorable.

My first visit to this restaurant was at the age of 10. I returned 20 years later to find the seafood is still as good as I remember.
We now visit this restaurant every time we feel like seafood. Fresh. Tasty. Always cooked to perfection.

Decent wine list with a selection of wine from the surrounding area. Also a superb local beer on tap.

Highly recommend this restaurant.

Firstly, i have to say that our waiter was excellent. What a nice guy. He knew the menu so well and all ingredients that went into the dishes. We had lobster and calamari and prawns for main and it was excellent. We asked for our lobster boiled, and he said it was no problem. We did not wait long for our meals which we appreciated. Really great experience, the restaurant is situated on the beach, lovely views! Restaurant is beautifully decorated. Thank you. Will be back!

A great restaurant with excellent seafood and great service whenever you visit.

Parking is easy and safe and if you over-indulge a paddle in the ocean is 2 minutes away.

The menu has a good selection, tasty appetisers and excellent mains. I have never got as far as the desert menu as the helping size of appetisers and mains is so big.

Great value all in all - just not sure about the waiting staff uniforms - straight out of HMS Pinafore!!!

On a rainy day, this place provided us with some really good food. The platter for two was good value for money and the calamari was absolutely delicious. The interior was interesting and some old relics were on display inside the restaurant as well. A good place to stop for lunch on the blue hop on bus.
