“Excellent value”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 8, 2013

A great restaurant with excellent seafood and great service whenever you visit.

Parking is easy and safe and if you over-indulge a paddle in the ocean is 2 minutes away.

The menu has a good selection, tasty appetisers and excellent mains. I have never got as far as the desert menu as the helping size of appetisers and mains is so big.

Great value all in all - just not sure about the waiting staff uniforms - straight out of HMS Pinafore!!!

“Excellent Seafood”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 17, 2013

On a rainy day, this place provided us with some really good food. The platter for two was good value for money and the calamari was absolutely delicious. The interior was interesting and some old relics were on display inside the restaurant as well. A good place to stop for lunch on the blue hop on bus.

“Great food in a wonderful setting in Hout Bay”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 3, 2013

After 20 years we went back and enjoyed a fantastic meal. Already booked to return for a family birthday next wee. We had the grilled kingklip and sole and both were very well prepared and presented. Finished off with a great cappuccino. Classy place with magnificent views. Thanks to you all

“A huge Eatery quite touristic”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 2, 2013

On this windy day where the beach sand was blown everywhere we escaped to the second floor of a wood structure located on the harbor of this sea side resort close to Cape Town. The nautical décor of this Seafood Restaurant serves fish from their own fishmarket also located on the premises. We had the Hout Bay Chowder as starters which was so so and the Salmon pasta as main dish as well a the Ocean Fiesta (Linefish, basted with honey and wholegrain mustard with sautéed potatoes) Both were tasty and ok. As wine we had a glass of Hartenberg (nothings special). Service was provided by marine clad servers but needs polishing.
