Great relaxed atmosphere with amazing views, but I found the meat ,specifically the chicken and the dry side. The rest of the selection was wide and the wine was good value by the glass.

The venue is world class with a stunning view The food concept is great. Take whatever you want in any quantity and pay by weight from the salad buffet. Meat is at a fixed price. The wine is very cheap and delicious. You pay the shop price per bottle. A great wine only cost about $4.00 per bottle!!!!

After all the gourmet food in Franschhoek we needed something lighter and our guesthouse recommended this place. Its a very cool modern building, arty and relaxedinside - a change from the formality and oldeworlde of other wine farms. The buffet had a delicious selection of salads, roast meats and other delicious treats. Water was brought to our table with bits of cucumber in it. So refreshing! Oh and the wine was delicious too. There are lots of lounge seating to enjoy the view of the mountains through floor to ceiling glass windows. Very relaxing.

What a perfect Saturday outing for the whole family!

From the moment you enter Leopard's Leap's modern building in the heart of the Franschhoek Winelands, you are "pulled" inside with the warming atmosphere and homely smells. Live music further sets the tone for a lazy, hearty rotisserie and buffet lunch on the wide "stoep" overlooking the mountain and vineyards. There is a lovely playing area for the kids and even a (very well priced) kiddies menu. For the adults there are innovative wine cocktails to enhance the mood and then a wide selection of (also very well priced) Leopard's Leap wines. The buffet feels like a Sunday family lunch with a touch of flair with a choice of rotisserie meat. I honestly had the best pork belly and crackling I can recall...mouth watering! We ended our blissful experience with a really good flat white and gooey chocolate brownie (from the extensive desert offering). Satisfied.

The attention to detail of the building, interior, cutlery etc is an absolute bonus.

I would definitely add this stop to our monthly family itinerary. Not often that you find hearty food, great service, good value, stunning scenery and family friendly in one place.

We stopped for a lovely light lunch while touring the wine farms. They have a delightful selection of salads that you can combine with your choice of meat. The meat is all done on a rottisserie. The chicken could have been a bit more crispy but the rest was devine. The wine-cocktails are a must! Tired of tasting just wine- try these. A simple twist on a classic!
The desserts were fabulous! We will visit again!
