We loved our evening spent at Pierneef - La Motte Restaurant. We both had the Chef's Menu and were delighted by it's original, exquisitely executed tasting menu. My husband opted for the wine pairing whilst I stuck to alcohol free version! The 5 course meal was a real surprise, we had sous vide egg, truffle emulsion, roasted sweetbreads and one of my favorite - beef bone marrow. This was not the end.... a delicious rib-eye steak, with braised fennel and buchu honey onions ended our savoury experience. Do not miss out on the dessert. To finish off our perfect evening at Pierneef we had a mouth watering display of textures of chocolate and banana whimsically presented to wow any guest. Thank you to the chef for a really memorable evening.
