Why? Because then you will have time, hopefully, to revisit them. Everything we had was excellent. Even their wines by the glass stood out from virtually every other restaurant we have visited in SA. The interior is modern and inviting, the service spot on, and you can easily see that the owner, and beautiful wife, pay attention to every detail. Just a wonderful experience. Oh, did I mention the food preparation and presentation? Yummmmm! We would absolutely do the tasting menu next time —- with wine.

This place was full, lively and had a good vibe. Food good. Service a bit slow as our excellent waiter was serving load of tables. Probably need more staff. Worth a visit

We went to Ryan's Kitchen over 6 years ago and so enjoyed our experience that this was the first place we booked when we found we were returning to SA. The food is still very good but overall the restaurant seems to have lost something over the years. Our visit was marred by a local power cut so all credit to the team for getting plates out but the venue seems to have lost some of the comfort, warmth and conviviality of before. Hopefully this is just a blip but I can't help feeling that others have upped their game more.

With our holiday home almost next door and the memories of the first time we went to Ryans and it had been our best dinner it was clear we wanted to go again. We've had a long day and wanted two courses, but the menu was so intriguing that we went for the eight course taster. The first few courses were delicious, but a little bit too large and therefore filling.
The service was very attentive and personal. All in all it was a great meal again. Thanks Ryan and team!

My cousin and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Ryan's kitchen. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and had excellent service throughout our meal. The restaurant was fairly quiet the evening we dined. We did not do a tasting menu, having done a tasting dinner the previous night, so selected from the menu and the presentation and taste was excellent for everything. The cauliflower main was a unique and delicious vegetarian option as was the beetroot appetizer.
