Very beautiful place on a small wine estate. Three friendly dogs welcomes you at the gate. We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit which was very spacious and everything you need to be comfortable for a long stay.

We loved the farm atmosphere, gorgeous decorations (esp the mounted photographs), luxurious fittings and bedding, beautiful finishes and friendly hospitality. The fully equipped kitchen was a bonus.

This was a perfect getaway. The location was not only beautiful, situated close to the hub of town as well as a stone's throw away from a wonderful restaurant, Allora. We found the fact that the management was so accommodating of us travelling with a 10 month old a huge plus. A high chair and camp cot was provided which was a huge space saver and so convenient. My son loved the three dogs who roamed the property - they were so friendly. Thank you to Wendy and Alan for a great stay. we'll definately be returning - perhaps without the baby next time!

We were quite happy with the cottages - comfortable beds, well equipped kitchens, lots of outdoor space for kids to play, fresh air! All our special requests were dealt with in a friendly and efficient manner. Franschhoek is an historic town with lots of interesting places to visit. We bought food from a wonderful farmer's market nearby!

This self catering accommodation came highly recommended by friends and did not disappoint. The cottage was large, spotless and well equiped. In a secure location adjacent to the owners' home, it was set in a small vinyard and gardens. The hosts had left a bottle of their own wine for us (gratefully recieved and very good cab sauv it was ).

You could walk into Franschoek from the cottage but we drove and enjoyed the local shops and numerous eateries. The hosts also arranged a guide to take us on a wine tasting trip & it was great not to have to worry about driving!

We plan to go again, with our grown up 'kids', as there is just so much to do in the area. I think we will all enjoy it.

The cottage is perfectly situated close to town, surrounded by his own little vineyard. Spacious cottage, with the biggest King-size bed I have ever seen! The owners are friendly and very accomodating. La Galiniere is definately a little gem in franchoek!
