Description: Fyndraai is an exciting restaurant with a local twist, on the Solms-Delta wine estate outside Franschhoek. The food, like its adventurous wines, lives up to the Solms-Delta claim of being proudly Hiervandaan (‘from this place’). You not only walk into history in the 325-year-old wine farm restaurant, you walk OVER it. The glass floor covers the archaeological substructure of a 1740 wine cellar.

The food was excellent and delivered above expectations. The traditional dishes were interesting, creative and beautifully put together.
I would highly recommend a visit on a sunny day where you can eat outside under the trees and relax with a great meal and bottle or two of vino.

Had a lunch with friends at Fyndraai in September 2012. The location of the estate is excellent with stunning views. The menu is diverse and filled with wonderful options. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the wine. The service was fantastic and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the Franschhoek Valley.
We had initially planned to have the picnic lunch by the river, which is also offered by the restaurant, but the weather had other plans! It is a pity because the picnic spot is stunning.

Been to Fyndraai yesterday for the 3rd time. Best lamb dish I have ever tasted, the spekboom leaves just did it for me! Fridge tart not as nice as my mom's though... The wife's Rib-eye steak also scored top marks. One of our favourite restaurants.
