This cafe/restaurant is located in the "La Petite Dauphine" winery outside Franschhoek and was a real find. Really nice people, excellent service, lovely gardens and great food. Well worth going out of your way.

It's hard to beat this one. Fabulous food, friends, a glorious late summer's day, the most beautiful setting on a boutique winery in Franschhoek, and a genuinely warm Cape welcome. Oh, and throw in a great mini concert by the Celli family and ... well, seriously. Does a Sunday get any better than this? No it doesn't. Even Hendrik the rooster enjoyed the concert, and joined in the finale. Pure magic.

On a windless and cloudless day, there can be few more serene settings for a meal than Cafe Bon Bon in Franschhoek. Perfection.
The food came close to this perfection, but did not get quite there. Service was impeccable. The menue was varied - not extensive but more than adequate.
Would I go back there? Tomorrow! There are a few more menue choices that I would like to taste.

Went for breakfast after recommendation from a couple of locals. Great recommendation. Food was excellent as was the service. Views of mountains wonderful. We will be going back for dinner and/or lunch. Well worth a visit although not widely publicised. Part of he Dauphine Guest Farm complex, which itself looks as if it would be a great place to stay.
