“Excellent food and superb location”
Reviewed December 17, 2013

If you want to enjoy your wine and food , while being surrounded by the mountains with a nice view, then this is the place to be

They only do breakfast and lunch (till 5:00 PM) , except Wednesday, FRiday and saturdays when they are open for dinner. So, please check the time and day when you are going, else you might have to make a personal request to the chef to cook a meal for you (which we did and the chef willingly obliged, although he was packing off )

Definitely a must do for nature and food lovers. Also , remember to take a self guided tour of the studio, which is immaculately decorated

“Nice - but rarely is dinner an option”
Reviewed December 6, 2013

If you're staying on the hotel this is your go-to spot for breakfast and lunch. Nice, quite, but with a big rooster that wanders about.

Small but solid menu. They live up to the town's reputation as culinary capital of South Africa title even if they're not the best of the best.

“Beautiful food in a beautiful setting”
Reviewed November 13, 2013 via mobile

Top experience starting with the beautiful garden as you drive in. Outside tables in a stunning setting but the inside restaurant barns also have a real wow factor. The dinner is a party for the taste buds, the chefs knows how to combine flavours and textures. Delicious!

“Valentine's Day”
Reviewed November 4, 2013

Special evening with Danielle Pascal singing a la Piaf. Very romantic, despite there being a full house. The kitchen produced an exquisite meal and the bonus was being visited at the table by the resident cocker spaniel.
