Good, if heavy, food. Very nicely done fish. Nice views for lunch, and nicely decorated. Service was very slow.

Went for lunch on Good Friday having booked well in advance. We had a table on the verandah with spectacular views over the Franschoek valley and vineyards. The service was top quality and the leisurely meal consisted of delicious, freshly-prepared food. After coffee we sat in the garden admiring the views before reluctantly setting off back to Cpe Town (1 hour easy drive).

We were lucky enough to have a very leisurely sunday lunch here on our honeymoon. The location is stunning, with a beautiful view over the vineyards and both the outdoor seating area and indoor seating area let you enjoy the setting.

We really enjoyed the food, which is quite traditional but of very high quality. The wines topped off a fantastic experience and we were extremely well looked after.

Can't wait to go back.

This is really a beautiful place to go for Sunday lunch. Sadly, the food does not live up to expectation. We had an ostrich bresaola and the fishcakes as starters, both of which were nice. My trout was unexceptional and came with grey braised fennel. My partner's roast pork belly was equally average with lots of sweet sauce. It's really a gorgeous setting, but the food is overpriced for what you get. Pity.
