This restaurant deserves its award-winning place amongst the best in the country! Each dish was an adventure and the food itself dominated the conversation. I went there with two old friends and we had a lovely leisurely lunch greatly entertained by the choosing and sharing of extraordinarily tasty and unusual food combinations.

Two of the best meals we've ever eaten. We would not be able to get close to such a high quality set of 8 mini courses in the UK. No dress code and a willingness to take note of any allergies is a big plus. All courses were of a very high quality and also very interesting. The wines which matched the various courses were excellent apart from a disappointing Pinotage. Excellent service, together with some advice on wineries to visit. An unforgettable experience.

I booked at this restaurant for my husbands birthday treat.
The disappointment I experienced was totally unexpected. Food terrible, ambiance non existent and a total waste of good money.
I have eaten at many fine restaurants around the world so was expecting a "wow" moment but got a "what the" instead.

had a great food experience by Margot jansen the great female chef
very innovative ideas in african food ingredients however there was a clear need in more and more subtle ideas in the wine pairings.... the glasses were too big and by the end of the 8 course dinner many guests must have been struggling to keep their heads clear!.

More moderation and more consideration in the matching of the wines would have greatky enhanced thai memorable food experience .. The price warrants more care!! ..
