Simple but superb food with wine from the estate. Great place for a relaxed meal outdoors particularly if you are visiting the many wine houses

37 degrees in the shade. Would lunch be a disaster? We were back at B&W one year on, after a fabulous meal last year.

I had the mussels, my wife the trout. The mussels were the best I had ever eaten, including the famed New Zealand green lips. My wife loved the trout. "Mollys" wine complemented our meal.

Desserts - chocolates and expresso for me and the sweet plate for my wife, were equally delicious.

Bread and Wine is an outstanding lunch venue. Even at 100 degrees (in real measures), the superlative food shines through. Service is excellent and the venue great. 6 TA "blobs" if I could!

We were very lucky to get the last table for lunch at this very popular restaurant on the Moreson wine estate. It is in a lovely setting surrounded by vines and fruit trees and has outside tables in a large courtyard type area. Great selection of food for a lunch (eg Bresaola and fig salad, roast quail, springbok wrapped with bacon etc) and, of course, excellent wine. Must remember to book next time

We took the wine tram, and while we were visiting the Moreson winery, had lunch -- it was great. As you can imagine, the bread was REALLY good, as well as the wine! Large patio, but I imagine this place gets pretty busy during the weekends. We had a reservation during the week, and they were packed.

We met some friends for lunch and had a lovely afternoon. Lunch itself was lovely and relaxed, and then we followed it up with a wine tasting. Before we knew it the time was 5:30 pm, it was just such a relaxed atmosphere that we didn't even notice the time passing.
