The falls are a must-see, the best time is just before sunset. It's worthwhile to drive around the park as well to try and spot some of the wildlife.

If travelling in the Norther Cape, one has to stop and spend some time at the Augrabies Falls. It is absolutely stunning and worth a visit. The accomodation was very comfortable. The Falls are lit up at night and are quite spectacular. Definitely on my cards for another visit.

Fabulous place to visit in May. warm days, cool evenings that get chilly, great walks around the National Park with some lovely 3 to 4 hour hikes. Abounding with Dassies.

EVen swam in the cool weather at a great pool -of which there are 2.

Accommodation great at Park but book in advance if possible. 2 Nights and one day - just perfect stop over before hitting the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.

Was great to view the Augrabies Falls even though it was low, still a must see! Will visit again when it is in flood and would love to stay over in one of the nearby charlets.

Augrabies has a great campsite with power and from here you have free access to the falls and to the park to take short walks. In summer make sure you take water with you as this place gets really hot, o ja there are 2 swimming pools to cool off in. Remember to place all you food out of sight as there is a resident troop of baboons in the area that will help themselves to anything you leave unattended. The park is a really nice 2-3 day visit!
