Hotel was nice, very clean, employees were pleasant and professional. Pool area also was pretty but a little crowded, hotel is walking distance to boardwalk and bike rentals are nearby. Beach was clean, had lifeguards and also is directly in front of hotel after a walkway past dunes area. This is a nonsmoking property which is also definately wonderful. We enjoyed our stay. Room was mostly quiet but we were oceanfront, side rooms may be somewhat noisier near basketball court or pool areas. It seems there is a lot of attention to detail in this hotel, which is very impressive to see. Room was a little cool at night, which was a surprise for the month of August. Restaurant food at Alosis was also good which is the restaurant attached to hotel.

We stayed in an oceanfront efficiency. It was clean and spacious enough for our small family. We loved being able to make breakfast and lunch in the room. We had very good service from housekeeping and the front desk. Everything was in good working order. We enjoyed the short distance from the boardwalk and took advantage of the underground garage parking for $2.00 per day. There were just a few things that made our stay less than perfect. The bedroom area is next to the hall, and we had some trouble sleeping due to constant opening and closing of doors and people talking in the halls. The air conditioning either had to be off or run constantly on low, medium or high without shutting off once it reached a desired temperature. This often made the rooms too cold. There was not a bike rack on the grounds, so we had to constantly push our bikes up a short flight of stairs and in and out of the room. If you are familiar with Wildwood Crest, then you know that the beach is VERY wide. Even though we had an oceanfront room, it should be noted that it overlooks the bike path, then grassy dunes, then the wide beach, and finally the ocean. It is a little hike to get to the water. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying at the Pan American again on a future visit.

This is our 5th year staying at this hotel with a family of 5. Also, the kids' Grandparents come along and enjoy the trip too. We always enjoy the time we spend at the hotel. It is very well located and the staff is wonderful. It is one of the very few hotels that has an attached resturant (Alosi Bistro) and has that resturant open in the morning for breakfast. They even have an order window outside so you can order lunch right by the pool. If you have trouble getting into the Pan American hotel, there are also a lot of hotels owned by the same people (Morey's Piers). They Include The Starlux, The Jolly Roger, The Port Royal and The Blue Palms. They are all very excelent hotels owned by the same people that operate the boardwalk. I am sure you will enjoy the time you spend at the Pan American or any of these other hotels.

I Visited the Pan American Hotel from June 25th till the 29th 4 nights. I was a little worried with the reviews in general from all the hotels and resorts in wildwood when trying to find a good place to stay..

Well this hotel was GREAT!!! My kids 5 and 3 loved the pool in was perfect the kiddie pool awsome even the big pool soo warm... My sister who also came 11 loved the pool ..

The hotel was soo clean our room was beautiful and to our surprise their was a daybed in our room as well as a little kitchen area equiped with refrigerater and microwave as well as a small sink and couple of cabinets .. The beds were comfortable , housekeeping staff and front desk extremly friendly... they also have for kids acitivities in a room like crafts, face painting for all ages.... alot of the hotels say they are on the beach this one really is you walk out and go down the wood plank to the beach ,,, where it was not very crowded... their is also a resteraunt in the hotel it was very good... The service was a little slow but the food and friendliness was great...

I would recommend this hotel to families with kids. My kids met alot of friends and our room was on the first floor so our balcony was over the pool area which we really liked.. We will always stay here now that we found a hotel that is not run down and old looking...

Me and my family had a great overall visit. Cant wait to go back.....
