Great food, reasonable prices for families. The Bayview Inn is a large facility with a game room for the children. A good place to have an event.

Myself and family have eaten at the Bayview around 10 times in the past 3 years. I have a good representation of their body of work . It's located south end of Wildwood Crest near Sunset Lake.....great setting and scenery in the summer and even from inside. They have a spacious bar and restaurant that just went through a renovation to separate sit down dining from the bar.....very good idea as the open space often made this one large bar versus a restaurant and bar included. They have the room.

Look.... this is a simple place with a diverse menu that can range from pub style food, burgers, wraps, fried goodies to more advanced dining options including fish, shrimp, chicken, pasta. A good diversity and a great "local" flavor. I liked that each time we dined a manager came over to assure we were having a good experience. We went to this place during crowded periods and less popular times and the food experience was above average to great, but everything was plentiful and fresh tasting. Servers range from younger folks to more seasoned people, all never a problem.

The food overall has some high notes. Wings were good, clams and mussels were good, even the pasta was pretty good, anything grilled has a nice flavor too. Burgers, crab cakes, etc. all really good. Bar has cold beer and drinks, reasonably priced for the area.

The bar is large and spacious, a great place for a night out and they vary from quizzno stuff and other entertainment to keep you busy. It's fun, a little loud but the new restaurant separation sort of tones down the noise.

Overall, this is a great destination, especially for the Crest when on vacation, traveling down to the beach or as a locals place. Highly recommended.

Great place to hang down the shore. Real rustic atmosphere with beautiful view of Sunset Lake. Great appetizer menu and the drinks are fantastic. Especially known for their honey wings and crab cakes.

Friendly staff but when the place gets crowded, the service can run a little slow. Would recommend getting there between 5:00 and 6:00. They also discount appetizers and drinks before 6:00.
