Just returned from a week at the Bristol Plaza. We were very happy with this hotel. We have stayed at quite a few different Wildwood Crest motels over the past 25 years and the Bristol Plaza definately has some of the largest rooms in its price range. We stayed in a 2-room suite without a kitchen. The suite had 2 double beds in the back bedroom and a duo bed and table & chairs in the front room, with plenty of extra floor space. There was also an apartment size refrigerator and a microwave. The maid service was excellent. The room was always very clean when we returned from the beach and we never ran out of any of the necessities (cups, tp, soap, tissues) and always had plenty of towels! The only complaint I have is that the back bedroom had an adjoining door to the next room which apparently was not well-sealed. We had very noisy neighbors who were quite loud far into the night. Also, their cigarette smoke smell came through the wall/door into our room which was quite disgusting since we are non-smokers. This was only a problem in the back bedroom; the front room was quiet. Luckily they checked out 2 days before us and the new neighbors were not a problem!

We stayed at the bristol at the end of July. This
place was so overpriced for what is was. The
room smelled and everything except the
bathroom was old. The people staying there
at the time were rowdy. The elevator broke
at least 4 times in two days. The pool area
was disgusting. How dare they charge the rates
they do, for this place. We actually went to
the pool at the hotel next door because the Bristol's
was so unappealing. Don't waste your money here.

Actually I just got home from the Bristol today, I had a wonderful time, we arrived on July 19th at around 1, which is earlier then you are supposed to check in but the management at the Bristol is very nice and sees to it that you can basically check in at any time, for the past couple of years my family and I have stayed in the same room (by request, and its always available when we want it) #301 because its one of the biggest most convienient rooms you could ask for its right above a tanning deck and has a nice view of the ocean, pool, and if you walk towards the balcany you can look right at the whole city, the pool is always clean and warm on cold days and just right on hot sunny days, there is pleanty of room to enjoy the sun or go for a swim, although this year there was no diving board or slide, but they just get in the way. They now have a DJ on the main deck (which is ocean front ) on Tuesdays, from 4-6 and they play good music not all oldies but not all new either. On wednesdays Chef Pat cooks hot dogs on the grill and if you didnt already know the grill is right by the pool, and the staff is so nice, anything you could want they get you. They keep updating the rooms and the hotel every year, this year for example, our room had a new refrigerator, couch, microwave, and 2 new TV's and the air-conditioner was replaced. They are truely one of the greatest resorts you can stay at while in the Wildwood's. The place is SPOTLESS, definately worth the money, unless your too picky, and if you are, go somewhere else.

My husband and I stayed here on July 17th. We have not been to Wildwwod for a long time and came here to read reviews on hotels. This hotel seemed to have great reviews, so we decided to give it a try. We didn't make reservations, I had called the day before for rates, as well as other hotels. When we arrived the women at the desk was nice and she allowed us to check out the room before we made our decison. We decided to stay.
We had a ocean front room, which the price was hefty, it had a private balcony, which was very small, it had two plastic chairs that when you sat your knees almost hit the rail, not to mention the air conditioner coming out of the wall. The room (which was just one room) was clean, it had two double beds, a table with four chairs, a portable closet, a low boy chest of drawers, (the furniture all matched) sink, frig., micro., coffee maker, glasses pot's etc.. I could not imagine having alot of people in this room it was tight. The bath was updated, but small. I would imagine the other rooms, the one's not direct ocean front, are the same but they do not have private balcony's, it's more of a walk way so if you are sitting outside your room you are looking at everyone else who is sitting , and people would have to walk directly infront of you to get to there rooms. All of the unit airconditioner's are were you would sit to, so you have to listen to them. Would not stay here again, but stay was not horrible, just like a little more room and privacy.

I loved the bristol plaza it was a great and the service was excellent!! We never had any problems with it. The pool was so much FUN!! With the water slide it was even better. I havent been there in a long time but the last time i was there I went with my mother, father, brother, aunt, uncle, and cousins. They said they never wanted to leave and it was a great place to stay on a relaxing vacation. The boardwalk was right down the street and you could see everything, even the fireworks on friday nights. Well i hope u take my words into consideration.

Just stayed at the Bristol for a get away weekend, the place is clean, staff very friendly and helpful, rooms are in very good condition. I'll be beack in July. P.S. all rooms i think look like the have good views of the ocean, not just the ocean fronts. Save the money!
