“Great Food!”
Reviewed July 4, 2014

Always visit the Crest Tavern when down the shore. Great sandwiches: roast beef, pork and turkey club with fresh turkey. Also great daily specials. Fitz's Fries are the best!! Nice selection of dinner specials too. Place is always packed. We frequently get the same waitress who has been there for many years and is a great server with a smile. The owner and sister (or maybe his wife), do not smile much and run the lottery machine and cash out on the beer take out side. You do get the feeling they are not excited to be there! The food outweighs their unpleasantness, though.

“Good local place with good prices”
Reviewed July 3, 2014

Whenever we are at the shore, we always eat here at least 2-3 times. Sandwiches and salads are very good. Recommend the chicken Louie, chicken panini, crab cakes, peel it shrimp. Great bar food and meals are really tasty. Wednesdays are chicken pot pie special night. So good. Love this place. Four of us had meals and appetizers, Bill was under 50. Drink bill was a bit more expensive. It's usually pretty crowded so you may have to wait for a table. We try and sit at the bar when we go. We go to the Shore twice a year and this place is a must go to. There are a couple of really good bartenders and a couple that seem to cater to the locals only. Disappointed one night we went and while the food was good, it was difficult to get a drink at the bar ... Not because it was busy but because bartender was busy talking to local friends. Still it's one of my favorites.

“Good Dive Bar”
Reviewed June 23, 2014

It is nice to find a good dive bar where you least expect it. Bare bones inside, but with good food and lots of different drink selections. The friendly folks make you feel welcome and they have some nice happy hour specials.

TIP: Get the shirt for $15. It looks great and keeps you thinking about the beach.
