“Surprisingly Clean and a Good Value”
Reviewed August 30, 2011

We visited on August 24 and 25, a day before Hurricane Irene shut down the whole East coast.

The best value for our family of 4 was the $215 package which included all day wristbands for the 3 piers and for the 2 waterparks. The wristbands could be used on different days which is great. The wristbands also act as passes to ride the tram cars that move up and down the boardwalk until 5:30pm. This is a good added value since it costs $2.50 per person just to hop on the tram car, no matter how far you plan on going.

As a whole, the consensus was the middle pier, (Mariner's Landing) was the best ride wise. The Raging Waters Waterpark is also located here, which we all felt was the better of the 2 waterparks as well. The water just seemed warmer here than at the Ocean Oasis Water Park. There is a very large redemption arcade at the front of this pier (Mariner's Arcade). The interior of this arcade was quite clean. Even the carpet was clean which came as a surprise since it must get a lot of foot traffic.

If you want to save a few bucks and don't mind walking, park at the Wildwood Convention Centre parking lot. You can park here for the whole day for just $6. The second day we were here, we parked right in front of the Mariner's Landing Pier and it cost $5 until 2pm, another $5 until 6pm and presumeably even more after 6:00pm.

The only negative thing I can say about Morey's Piers, was the service at Jumbo's. I think this restaurant belongs to Morey's Piers. The service here was oddly quite rude all around until it came time to hand us the bill. Everyone was smiles then hoping for a tip. The food was overpriced, and nothing special.

Overall, the Wildwood Boardwalk and all the piers here were much cleaner than the Boardwalk in Atlantic City.

“Fun for everyone”
Reviewed August 30, 2011

Definitely a must-see for any wildwood adventure...we ate from the various vendors and enjoyed the stroll. However, we came the day after a tropical storm and the first and second pier were closed.

“LOT of Fun for Kids of All Ages”
Reviewed August 26, 2011

We visited Morey's Pier with my family that had kids that ranged from 4 to 15 and everyone had a great time. The pier had rides for kids of all ages and dare levels; they all seemed well maintained. I recommend getting a wristband for the day because buying individual tickets can get quite expensive.

The traditional video games are all but gone; most of the arcades are filled with casino games. The pier itself is well staffed and were clean. A night on the piers are a must if you visit Wildwood.

“Still great”
Reviewed August 26, 2011

I reviewed it in 2008 and we just went back. We are still impressed. It is not the largest water park in the world but there is a good variety of activities and thrill levels. What struck me this time was the attentiveness of the life guards. They all were focused and followed a repetitive pattern with their eyes to cover everything. The place was also well maintained and clean. Food was tasty as well.

“Tuesday Band Day”
Reviewed August 26, 2011

If you have young children, Morey's Pier offers a great deal on Tuesdays. For one low price, the kids can get on all the rides. The offer is only from 12:00 - 6:00 which includes all three piers but the water park is not part of the deal.
