“Best Place to Eat on the Boardwalk”
Reviewed March 21, 2009

Their burgers are great and I love the buffalo chicken wrap but the sundaes are to die for. Superclean and can't beat the 50's ambiance for the boardwalk. Best place to visit after sunning on the beach all day or riding the rides. As busy and crazy as the Wildwood Boardwalk may be, you will feel removed and transported into your own Happy Days episode.

“Great place to go”
Reviewed July 14, 2008

I loved this diner. It is not your typical boardwalk place. It is by far one of the cleanest. The memorabilia hanging everywhere is adorable. The portions are big and the food is great. I ordered a cheeseburger and could only eat half of it. The chicken bites were delicious and very zesty. If you are on the boardwalk and are hungry I would reccomend you stop here. It is a very friendly and nice place.

“A Great Way to End Your Day After Fun in the Sun!”
Reviewed July 7, 2008

This May I took a large group of middle school students from a suburban school outside of Philadelphia on a school trip to Wildwood. My group was quite international with students from diverse countries such as Burma, Chile, China, Egypt, India, Mexico, and Peru.

After a long day of fun in the sun, we had dinner at the Doo-Wop Diner-- all 56 of us! The owner and staff were wonderful and very friendly, making sure students had a great selection from the menu to chose from-- accomodating some very picky eaters, including vegeterians! Our dinners came out hot and delicious, exactly what we needed after such a long day at the beach.

“Only place to eat on the Wildwood Boardwalk”
Reviewed July 3, 2008

I have been going to Doo Wop Diner for a few summers now. It is definitely the cleanest place to eat on the boardwalk. I always like to patronize the locally owned places and Doo Wop fits that bill... family owned with good food, how can you beat that? The milkshakes are my weakness! So Good!

Make it a destination next time your in Wildwood!

“Decent, but not the greatest”
Reviewed June 19, 2008

We stopped in the Doo Wop Diner because we wanted a sit down, air conditioned meal on the boardwalk, where most food is quick service walk-up style. After we ordered, it was a very long wait for our food, especially considering it wasn't very busy. The portions were large, and the burgers were good. The french fries were mediocre. Prices are on the high side.
