Loved the burgers. The skirts the waitresses wore were fabulous. I especially loved the burgers. Wow...I did not expect those burgers to be so fantastic

“Definitely a must - A delicious blast to the past”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 11, 2012

The first time we walked past this restaurant, the music and the smell of the food just lured us inside, however they were completely full with members from an classic car rally. That evening we returned for dinner and were welcomed by a very pleasant waitress dressed in 50's attire. The atmosphere, music and memorabilia in the restaurant definitely adds to the dining experience. The food is great American food, and there is plenty to chose from. Hubby ordered a cheese burger with fries, and a portion of onion rings, and I had the zesty chicken wrap. The portions are huge. Later in the week we came back for a milkshake and that was equally delicious. Top marks for the whole experience.. definitely a must.

“Definitely a must - Great Food, Friendly waitress and the highlight was...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 7, 2012

Both myself and my husband were teenagers in the 50's, and I must say, eating at this 50's themed diner bought back some fond memories. So much so, that my husband actually thought he was 16 again and ordered a large burger they called The King.. The burger was not large at all, it was HUGE, and when the waitress bought it to our table and wished my husband "good luck" he just sheepishly looked at her.. To his credit he managed half of it ( took the other half home ) My chicken sandwich with crinkle fries was a treat. The staff were all dressed in the 50's petticoat skirts and bebop socks. Our waitress was friendly and very efficient. The final touch that made our day was... a SONG! The working Jukebox at the diner actually had the song that became "our song" back in the (real) 50's, and we finished our meal listening to Ruth Brown's Teardrops From My Eyes.
This diner is a must, and we will definitely return in the near future.

“Too many flies.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 4, 2012

We stopped at the Doo Wop Diner while on a day trip to Wildwood. First problem was the flies. They were everywhere and we spent our meal swatting then away from our food. Maybe because the entrance opens up to the Boardwalk it hard to keep the flies out. The food itself was not bad. Although way too many hash browns were served.
