We recently ate at the Boathouse. We were a bit apprehensive due to some reviews here, but took a chance anyway. When we arrived, there was quite the crowd, but we managed to get seated rather quickly. We overheard the wait staff saying they were understaffed, so I knew they would do they best they could with the given staff. We ordered our drinks and they came out pretty quickly. They were very good. Our dinner was also great (I highly recommend the chicken parm and penne/Alfredo sauce). We even had some (unplanned) entertaiment when a customer got very angry over a credit card situation. Those of us sitting around the customer had a great time talking about it after the fact, and it actually made the night even more enjoyable. The manager went to each table making sure everything was up to par and was very professional. We will be back! Our best dinner of the trip!

First time in Wildwood. Crab stuffed Lobster was delicious. Service was great. The view of the sunset at night was phenomenal. A must visit when in the area.

This place is extremely over-priced. We went for the early bird which is an OK deal but looking at the regular menu the least-expensive dinner entree was $29.00. This place is not worth $29.00 (or $35 for most regularly priced entrees.) Early Bird meals are $16 but only 3 seafood options, the Jumbo shrimp option was only 3 medium at best sized shrimp. Prime rib was ok but very small piece. Our waitress was very good but she had no support from the busboys in the corner texting when we were waiting for bread, water, etc. Restaurants software was down so they had no idea their outside deck was full when their computer said they had space. Go to the Lobster House in Cape May for 10x's better seafood at a better price, whether its for an early bird or late night, and where the staff actually want to work.

Love, love this place. We went last year & twice this year. 8 of us plus a baby. We went early before 5:30 & were able to choose from the early bird meals. There was plenty to choose from & all 16.99. Soup or salad, meal & desert, a great value for the shore. 4 of us had the salmon with a blueberry sauce. I've had this before & it was delicious. My hubby had the prime rib which he loved. We got to eat out on the deck & were able to watch the boats go by. The staff is also very friendly. Go here, you won't be sorry!!!

Food was decent. Dirty salad plates and empty drink glasses left on the table the entire meal. What do you expect when the gratuity is automatically added for a large party. Am curious who the man was standing around with a tablet. He could see how crowded our table was with dishes. Brought the main course and didn't pick up a dish. We were a party of 10 and a toddler. They charged us 1.50 for a glass of milk. Had two children under 12 that ordered off the adult menu so we were not going on the cheap. Won't recommend or go back.
