“Terrific Ending”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2013

We end our trip to the American Legion Convention every year at the Boat House. We have done this for the past 25+ years. Usually our entire group (as many as 25 people) dine at the Boat House on Saturday Night. The food is absolutely fabulous. Best Fried Calamari in Wildwood. All staff are always extremely friendly and helpful.

“Dinner Visit”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2013

Good location on the marina. Sat outside on the deck, cheap plastic table and chairs. The waitress was friendly but spilled my wife's drink on the table and didn't even bother cleaning it. Food was mediocre for the prices, the seafood platter overcooked and the "fresh" NJ broiled flounder tasted boiled.
Overpriced and Overrated. Want good, reasonable seafood? Go to the Lobster House in Cape May.

“Excellent Service, Outstanding views, Quality Food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2013

We loved the Boathouse Restaurant in Wildwood Crest! Our service from the waitress was top notch. She was quick, very friendly, and had great knowledge of the menu. The food was very good, an above average meal. The views are what brought us to the Boathouse, and what will bring us back in addition to the service and food. The Boathouse is a must do when visiting the shore! You wont be disappointed.

“Ick!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

Came to eat here after a ride on the Silver Bullet, kids were hungry and I saw it was outside seating for a beautiful day. I will not return. First off, the hostess didn't even walk us all the way to our table, just pointed and I had to get up and get the menus myself. Secondly, the "entertainment" was worse than a bad night at karoke. We actually clapped when he announced he was taking a break. I ordered nachos....what I got was a seperate plate of round tortillas and a plate of what was like mushy tomatoes, onions, cheese and peppers with cut olives on top. THE WORST EVER! 2 in my group ordered the quesadillas, they were ok. Waitresses was somewhat attentive, but had to walk to the bar to get drinks after waiting a bit. Will not return.

Dana, we are very disappointed that your experience at the Boathouse was as you described. We truly value our customers and the feedback we receive. I will be addressing, point by point, the issues of service and food quality that you enumerated. I hope that you will visit us again in the future and that the effort to address the issues is evident.
Regards, Boathouse Management Team

“Really good food, nice location!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2013

They had live music on the deck but we had to be seated in the un covered area which was too windy. The food was great, or waitress was AWESOME- great service, helpful tips for local fun. Nice live music by the water.... wish we could have gotten under the canopy and with the clear walls to block the wind when it kicked up. Inside was too crammed in for us. I like the fact you could get a bar menu (lighter fare) or dinner menu but didn't like that the entire party (we had 6) had to agree on which menu, couldn't do some from one, some from the other menu.
