The restaurant occupies the space of a restaurant that was once called Dominick's. New chef/owner now. Waiter told us that they've gotten a lot of repeat business from former Dominick's patrons, but unfortunately, I won't be one of them. The meal started nicely with the apps and salads, but then when they brought out our entrees, it started to go downhill. We were a party of 6 and the waiter quickly realized that they "overlooked" (his words) one of our entrees when one of us did not get served. Now the food...food was ok, except for the short ribs. None of us were very picky eaters, so we dealt with it without making too big of a deal out of it. The waiter asked at the end of the meal how everything was, we politely pointed out that the short ribs were a bit overdone and dry. At the beginning of the meal, the server very proudly told us that the chef/owner was the one preparing the meals. I was surprised that he didn't come out and apologize for the fact that we weren't entirely satisfied. Oh well...lots of other restaurants in the area.

I ate here with my family in August 2012. I had the cream of squash soup, and bronzed salmon with rice. Other members of my family ordered ribeye steak, shrimp scampi, and roast chicken. The squash soup contained crabmeat, and was delicious. The steak and chicken were very good. The scampi was a bit dry and bland, and the rice was somewhat spicier than I prefer. However, overall dinner was quite good. Service is good, but please note that it takes some time to get your entree because everything is prepared for scratch.

This small little restaurant delivered big. Service by our rookie waiter was excellent. We had the grilled oysters, so good that we ordered more. The mussels were very different in a Louisiana hot sauce base. My entree of surf and turf, scallops seared and pork belly, was amazing. Ended with a cookie dough style dessert. We will return. BYOB next to a liquor store, priceless.
