“A Touch of Class in Wildwood”

Quiet and pretty, the Sea Gypsy is a lovely refuge from the crowds on the boardwalk in Wildwood. The breakfasts were delicious, the room clean and friendly, and the location terrific. It's a very nice place to get away too.

We enjoyed our recent stay at The Sea Gypsy. It is within walking distance to the boardwalk, beach and several nice restaurants. Wonderful homemade breakfast is served at a table with the other guests at 9 or 10 am(you choose the one you need). We got up early and walked the beach and boardwalk then came back to shower and eat. They have bikes you can use. The main porch has a hot tub, hammock and several rockers, tables and chairs for relaxing. We stayed in the Walt Whitman room. It is cozy with a double bed and sink in the room. It also has access to the upstairs deck from the room. You have a large private bath at the end of the hall with your own key. We locked our suitcases in the bathroom during the stay to give us more room in the bedroom and easy access to our clothes when bathing. Owner was very helpful and even gave me a recipe for blueberry buckle when I complemented on how good it was.

This was our first stay in a bed and breakfast and we are now hooked! The accommodations were awesome! We didn't reserve ahead of time and yet they took us right in! We enjoyed our stay in the Longfellow suite which was BEAUTIFUL! We enjoyed relaxing on our private roof top balcony, which was located right outside of the bedroom ,and the hot tub on the main floor was to die for! This was definitely a memorable place for us and we hope to get back there again someday! If your going to Wildwood we highly recommend The Sea Gypsy B&B! Kristina 25 ,Kenn 23

Nice B&B within 3-4 blocks from the beach (can walk with chairs).
Very clean and well kept with lovely front porch and great hammock!
Breakfast was atiquate: fresh cantelope, French Toast, OJ and blueberry muffins.
Not greeted upon arrival and did not get any info on restaurants while there.
Gentleman finally showed was not very friendly & only recommended one local bar for dinner (Good Night Irene's), although women were pleasant at breakfast
Really could have used printed info on local restaurants, Cape May, local specials, etc.
Offered "free" lemonade in small fridge, but without cups (what good is that?)
Free candy counter was nice touch!
If you're looking for nicer area of Wildwood, stay in Wildwood Crest or North Wildwood
Overall, I would recommend this B&B for one night only since the bed was too soft (typical)

My wife and I stayed for a week. The location is a few blocks from the boardwalk - close enough that it's not a long walk, and far enough away that you don't have the sound of parties going all night. The breakfasts were absolutely incredible.

We stayed in the Emily Dickinson suite. A gorgeous room which actually gave us several ideas for decorating our own home! We had no problem parking, but we did not stay during peak season. The owner does have a parking lot across the street to handle overflow, but we did not need to use it.

We had only one significant problem: the mattress was too soft for our backs - a problem that most hotels seem to share.

My boyfriend and I just returned from a three night stay at the Sea Gypsy and we never wanted to return home. We stayed in the William Morris loft and it was a beautiful, comfortable hideaway. My boyfriend's only complaint was the slanted roof, but that is expected because it is an attic room, and I didn't take in consideration his height while booking. The room was cleaned every day and was spotless. They give you Bath & Body Works toiletries as well as well as candles to relax and lounge in the oversize tub. The bed was extremely comfortable. Everything we needed was in the room, even a cork screw. In fact, on Saturday night we ordered in and relaxed and watched movies all night.; that is how cozy the room was. They have a wide selection of movies you can use, as well as games. There is a jacuzzi on the veranda of the main house. There is also a candy bar in the main house with lemonade and wine. The breakfast every morning was delicious. They bake fresh pastries every morning to have with breakfast. The owners were more than welcoming and hospitable.

This was my first bed and breakfast experience and thanks to the Sea Gypsy, it will not be my last. I will definitely return, it was everything and more to make our Anniversary getaway a special one. My boyfriend, who is a man of few words, could not stop gushing about the Sea Gypsy.

Our experience at the Sea Gypsy was outstanding throughout. Very friendly even though we arrived late on Friday night. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and air conditioned. Bikes are available to ride for free. Nice outdoor hot tub on the porch. Location is great - only a few blocks to the boardwalk. Breakfast is great. People and service is outstanding - they will do the extra little things to make your stay excellent - like providing ice for the beach, letting you use beach towels even on the day of checkout, and lots of candy in candy jars. If you're looking for a nice bed and breakfast in Wildwood, stay here.
