When we needed some cooling refreshments on a hot June day at the beach, Stewarts was a good place for the standards (like a root-beer ice cream float.) It is good that they have diet rrot beer, that is still tasty, for those with medical issues that force them to stay away from too much sugar.
In the end however, while staying at Wildwood, you are better served (especially if you are looking for a unique Wildwood experience) by trying out Duffer;s and their giant ice cream sundaes (a better value,) or Scoops, where the service was a bit more spot on, than at Stewarts (where the customer service could have been better, when we swung in.) If you are on the boardwalk, cones of Kohr Bothers Frozen Custard are a bit more of an iconic experience.
