My family's meal at Jersey Girl was by far one of our favorites. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant was great- the night we went there was a guy playing the guitar and singing, it was lovely! The food was delicious- not one of us didn't like our meal. We were served in a very timely manner and we all really enjoyed our meals. The risotto ball appetizer is delicious as well as the mojito hanger steak. We would definitely recommend this restaurant!

How many hostesses does it take to seat a party of three? At Jersey Girl the answer to that apparently is at least three. We arrived on a busy evening, but we were the ONLY ones waiting to be seated. The hostess at first barely acknowledged us. Then she walked around looking to see if there was a table that would be available, talking to her colleagues, standing off to the side. This took about 10 minutes, and she did not even come over and tell us how long of a wait it would be or what was going on. FINALLY, she came to us and told us we could take a table in the bar, if we wanted to. We sat at the table, but it was right in front of the live musician, so it was kind of loud, not allowing for easy conversation when he was playing. Anyhow, the menu is eclectic, which is a refreshing change for the Wildwoods. However, the food was hit or miss. The tomato bisque was bland. Needed salt and pepper, or some kind of spices to give it some flavor. We tried the grilled cheese and tomato. It sounded good, but in fact all we could taste was the pesto that they put on it. The basil flavor completely overpowered everything else in the sandwich, so they should have skipped the tomato and cheese and just made a basil sandwich. The Veal Hunter, on the other hand, was very, very good. The meat was tender, the flavors fantastic. Our waiter was very pleasant, but a bit inattentive. It was really hard to get his attention when we wanted drink refills and our bill. We probably won't go back. It wasn't special enough.

I had dinner here last night and sat outside. It was a gorgeous night-- the drinks were delicious-- the food was outrageous... The crab dip appetizer is a must have! I had the shrimp and scallop with risotto entrée and it was so tasty. Everyone at my table was very happy with their food and drinks :)

I had a hard time finding something appealing for a late night dinner at the Boardwalk and decided to give Jersey Girl a try. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, very good service and nice selection of menu options. I would certainly recommend it!
