Pros: This one bedroom is walking distance (about a block) to the beach and convention center. Anna and her daughter are SO nice and helpful and while very small, it's a clean apartment. Nothing fancy but just what you'd need; coffee machine, small microwave, working (CLEAN) oven, and all of the plates, glasses, silverware etc... that you'd need to cook or eat. Cute outdoor balcony to sit on too.
Cons: There are several units. But this front unit (A) is adjoining and how this apartment was split to make two was with one door in the middle. Unfortunately, the entire weekend we had people partying, screaming etc.. in our "bedroom" and it sounded like they were in our apt. The worst part was that they smoked the entire weekend (Marijuana) and it was ALWAYS in our apt. The door that was installed had a visible line at the top so we could see their light and the smoke seeped in. The smell was SO strong. The owner did try to address is at least twice, but it didn't work.
Parking: was an issue because the other units had friends come over and park in the spaces for renters.
since one side of the beds are against the wall, you have to climb out which is no big deal except one of them makes noise when you do waking the other person.
The surf comber motel (across the street) was like a Frat party the whole weekend. People screaming, loud music etc..
While it was convenient and the owners were nice, I wouldn't stay here again. I don't think this is the right place for families, it's best suited for younger people with NO kids.
