I found out about this company through TravelZoo.

We took the 3 hour, 1 PM tour and came almost 45 minutes prior as per instructions. After checking in, we ate lunch before boarding.

We did see dolphins on the trip, and, throughout, the captain helpfully told everyone over the PA in which direction to look to see dolphins or whatever else happened to be of general interest. They have other employees on the ship, too, one of whom was a marine biology student who was quite knowledgeable in his field and was friendly and answered our questions about the ecology, etc.

At one point, the captain maneuvered the boat in such a way so as to create waves of water which, he said, the dolphins like, and sure enough, they started jumping through it, which is when I took the attached photo. We also spotted them at other times, too, though they were more quick-out-and-in than they were when he made those waves.

The waters were quite calm, though the visibility happened to be generally hazy. But we did see dolphins, and it was a pleasant and enjoyable ride for the family.

Take this trip for a relaxing fun-filled summer evening. We took the 2.5 hour sunset dinner tour and it was extremely relaxing and very interesting. We saw lots of dolphins out playing in the Atlantic. The captain was extremely knowlegable. The music was great. The food was okay. The boat has a bar on board for those who choose to indulge. Great photo ops of Cape May and the grand finale was an awesome sunset. If you get the opportunity, don't miss it. It's well worth it!

Hi,

This was my firts trip into the atlantic for whale and Dolphin watching in New Jersey.Last year we went to Cape code which was an amazing trip.Through Groupon got the discounted ticket and so decided to go for this trip in place of the Cape May whale watcher.

The boat and complimentary breakfast was very good.We did saw many dolphins within say 40mins ride from the shore but I doubt the crew had any intention to take us for whale watching.Though the captain said we would now sail into the deeper sea for whale watching the boat actually never went so deep as compared to the distance you would need to travel to get to those depths.

Anyways the boat kept strolling for some 1 hr and then started making its way back to the shore, the Captain did not even inform us that 'today we are unfortunate that we could not see any whale" which seemed to be very rude on his part.

Overall the trip is enjoyable but I doubt the crew's intention to take us deeper into the sea for whale watching.I would say it was more of a "Dolphin watching Trip" than a "Dolphin and Whale watching trip".

I don't know what's up with the bad review on here. This is a nice little trip that is very enjoyable and is something different. I got my our tickets on Groupon, so the trip was nicely discounted. We didn't see any whales, but we did see tons of dolphins. Even though we didn't see any whales, it was worth it for the nice boat ride alone. The boat had 3 guys on it, giving tours and information. The boat offered snacks, hotdogs, softdrinks, beer & wine. The bathrooms were bad, but come on, you are on a whaler, it's to be expected. All and all very nice, however if you get motion sickness easily, this might not be for you.

We went on the Sunset Diner Cruise. The food wasn't great, but the trip was awesome of the sunset. Trip was 2:hours and 45 minutes long, well worth the money in my opinion. The Captain was great, we seen lots of dolphins and the music was good!
