We enjoyed this place so much on Friday evening we returned again on Sunday evening. Both times we sat at the bar next to very nice local folks. We enjoyed the conversation, beverages, and watching the games on TV. Friday night was Name that Tune, nicely done by a young DJ. We ordered the grouper sandwich with tortilla chips and salsa both evenings because it was so tasty. The service was speedy. Prices reasonable and make sure to ask about drink specials. Outdoor seating is available along with tables surrounding the bar. We will definitely stop here again when in the area.

My wife and I stopped in for a drink and appetizer and after looking over the menu we quickly switched to drinks and a dinner. It was a nice menu with several good options - the appetizers also looked great which made ita tough decision. Our entrees were delicious and we grabbed a sandwich to go for our son who rarely comments on how good his food is but loved the quesadilla. Drinks were reasonably priced and made well by our friendly and attentive bartender. Overall a good place to grab a good meal and some drinks in a friendly environment.

after reading some other reviews,I have to admit that there are some people that are hard to please and sometimes experiances can turn bad for one reason or another but stopping in at the Dog Tooth was a good time for our group. The food was excellent, but not a bargain as the menu is somewhat pricy for a pub,the service..well the service was almost too good as the appitizers were quickly followed by the main courses and we hastly had to make room...not a problem in my book. Overall..I would recommend The Tooth as a good place to dine and wine.

We "stumbled" upon the Dog Tooth while shopping at Kona Sports. The owner's son just had opened it at the time. We've been going back every since and make it a regular stop while in Wildwood.

The specials are great and make sure you treat yourself to the Losbster mac & cheese.

It is sensational!

Probably a good place for those who are looking for drink and smoke, not if you are looking for a decent late night bar food. We're not even that late. It was before 9. The drinks were ok for the price under $5 for a Bourbon and $8.50 for Martini. But the Bourbon arrived without a lime that I had asked for. Few minutes into my drink suddenly the waitress appears and dumps the lime on the table without a word. She was too proud to say, she forget. The martini had an up charge of $2.50. When questioned, she took it off the bill. But overall her service was just as bad as the "super fishy" fish tacos and "Cajun" soup, a small whirlpool of flour doused in excessive thyme to disguise the two days old seafood or whatever the ingredients may have been, but there was nothing cajun about it. Though the waitress took the tacos off the bill and asked us to get something else, we were already badly disappointed and decided to cut our losses short and go to Marvis Dinner for a chaser. It was a just poor recommendation from the hotel clerk. Hope others have better experience.
