“Great food but service can be hit or miss.”
Reviewed June 3, 2014 credit card Amex Card Member Review

My last two visits have offered horrific service. Waiting at minimum 30 minutes for main order to arrive.
Food/sushi is top notch and one of the best places for great large sushi in NJ. Either they are understaffed or don't like me. haha! I will revisit and hope it was just two off-nights.

“Best sushi in Westfield”
Reviewed May 1, 2014 via mobile

I have been coming here for years and it really is the best place in Westfield.
Food is always spot on, I like sitting in the booth with my shoes removed.
I would say that when you look up their are cobwebs, the place could use some sprucing up but it's good enough.
I have never been disappointed with the food or service.

“Best sushi in Westfield”

This is a very good sushi restaurant, and even after dozens of visits it remains consistent. The fish is always fresh and the service is good even when they are packed which happens frequently on the weekends. It can get noisy but still worth it. Enjoy

“sushi great, all else poor”
Reviewed December 3, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

when you call this place the recording says they open lunch time???? the website says noon, so being fully aware that it takes time to make sushi I thought I would call in advance so as to have it ready for pick up during my lunch break...so I called at 11:30 no answer, I figured they need to prep before they open right... nope...lol so I called at 11:45 still no answer...:-( 11:50 nothing ...11:55 still nothing ...finally i figured they might be to busy to answer because they were prepping to open...and I drove to the place I get there no one...they showed up at 12:20 and opened by 12:30 my lunch hour was half over and I didn't even place my order, that's just unacceptable...but the sushi was great

“The best sushi in New Jersey”
Reviewed October 22, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

I go to Nagoya on a weekly restaurant and they are undoubtedly the best sushi restaurant in New Jersey. Henry and Sanny are brothers and 2 of the most creative sushi chefs. The fish is always fresh and the special rolls are delicious as well as beautiful to look at. Be sure to try the Paul roll, the Grandslam, the Prof and for something a little different, the Latin Lover. I am now hooked on black rice and ask for all my rolls to be made using. For a special treat call ahead and reserve a seat/ seats at the sushi bar. There you will get a Birdseye view of all the different delicious sushi delicacies served up by Henry and his staff.
