“Delicious pancakes”

I had the Oreo pancakes which were light and fluffy and the portion was plentiful. The server was attentive and the food was served timely.

“Great local place!”
Reviewed February 5, 2014

We like the new PJ's in Princeton Junction. We have been here for breakfast as a family at least half a dozen times. All of us always enjoy what we order for breakfast whether it is pancakes or eggs. Although most of us eat pancakes, I don't. My daughter especially loves the chocolate chip pancakes and my husband likes the blueberry, strawberry or he mixes it up!
The only hit or miss for me is the eggs benedict and I also think they need to serve 'fresh baked' rye bread (yes, I know it is primarily a place for pancakes). The atmosphere is nice, place is clean, the staff has always been pleasant and yes, expect to wait in line on the weekend for breakfast. (must be a good reason that a lot of the time there is a line) Definitely come here if you are in the area.

“Awful experience, all it was missing were roaches”
Reviewed November 24, 2013 via mobile

Went this past Sunday afternoon and had an awful experience. We were initially told it would be a 15-20 minute wait, which was somewhat expected given the long lives of the other location down in Princeton. The time was about accurate, and were seated at the bar. It all went downhill from there.

It should have been a bad sign when no one else at the bar had their food yet, and were seated right as we walked in 20 minutes ago. Our order was quickly taken and we had drinks almost right away. That was the last time we saw or heard from our waitress for 45 minutes. Seated right next to the kitchen, the first plate we saw come out was a good 15 minutes after our order was taken. Mind you that the dining room was full this entire time.

The couple next to us was keeping time and it took them an hour and five minutes from the time they sat down until they were given their food. There was a group behind us of 6 that had two plates come out, with the other 4 coming out 10-15 minutes later. While all this was going on, the manager and wait staff were hiding in the back of the store, avoiding all contact with any customers.

After an hour, we asked for our omelette and short stack of pancakes, which should take 20 minutes maximum, to be wrapped up to go. After another 15 minutes, they arrived, ending this miserable visit.

I can understand that kitchens get backed up at times, but when food is only coming out of the kitchen every 10 to 15 minutes, not even considering these orders are for things like toast and waffles, I hold the restaurant accountable. It should be shut down and the staff retrained.

“large portions”
Reviewed October 29, 2013

We got seated right away on this past Sunday morning. Service was great and the place was clean. Had the Feta cheese ommlet and rye toast with potatoes.yummy. the kids got eggs and bacon and toast. Hubby had small stack of pancakes. he said they were not fluffy like Perkins but still good. Also sat outside one time when the weather was warmer, very nice, little fountain there just alittle pricey for me.
