A few minutes after being seated at Novelli's restaurant we were greeted by a cheerful waiter. When he found out it was our first time at the restaurant he said, "you're gonna love it. Everything is delicious". He was right.
This pricey, upscale restaurant boasts a nice atmosphere, white linens on the tables, candlelight and great food. When full with patrons it was a bit noisy, due in part to a number of families with young kids seated together. The wait staff was harried, but pleasant and attentive, topping off drinks before we had to ask.
The wait time between ordering and getting our meals was about 30+ minutes. While waiting we had appetizers that were very fresh and tasty (Caprese with fresh mozzarella was terrific, Calamari was very good). Main entrees were excellent as well. Two guests had Walnut Encrusted Salmon, Red Snapper with Wasabi horse radish, and Lobster with Wheat Fettuccine and Cream Brandy Sauce, delicious. For desert, Godiva Cheese Cake and Poached Pears, both fabulous.
Wait staff was very attentive when serving and removing servings.
Meal for the four of us was $240 with tip. Pricey, but good for special occasions. Most entrees were between $18-$44.
Live music would be a nice addition.
All in all, a great night out.
