If you'd like a filthy room, unhelpful desk service and a band from the "tap room" keeping you up all night this is the place to stay.

I waited four hours before my room was ready and then I wondered what exactly they were doing to make it ready? The mold in the air conditioning unit and bathroom was scary. A 4-H experiment in the works by the desk staff maybe, because they certainly weren't at the desk helping anyone. Glad I brought flip flops because who knows what I could have brought home with me from the filthy bathroom.

Or maybe the staff was dancing in the tap room until 2:00 a.m. because that's when the band finally turned off the amps.

Terrific place to stay if you don't want to sleep and you're an expert on mold.

Room Tip: Rooms at another hotel would be the best choice of rooms.

The hotel was noisy, too many weddings and parties going on, band playing late in the night. Worn out and old, not so well maintained rooms, dirty drapes, upholstroy/cushions out of shape. Breakfast is nice, limted options options, service with no smile!

Room Tip: Go highest floor available, and away from the center, else the band will keep you awake

We recently spent three nights at the hotel. Our room was clean, quiet, and nicely appointed. That's the good news. I stopped at the bar for a beer after check-in and waited for at least 5 minutes before a staff member could break away from chatting with "regulars" to take my order. That evening we tried the Tap Room restaurant. It was noisy and the food wasn't even mediocre--it was appalling. If you must eat there, stay with a burger or club sandwich and nothing more. We passed on the expensive breakfast and each morning we went to the Soup Shoppe in the shopping mall opposite the hotel. Good coffee, excellent simple breakfast, and nice staff. We're using the Courtyard Marriott on the next trip.

when i 1st checked in, they placed me in a room that was not made yet. then they moved me to a room that had mold all over the ceiling and i requested to be moved again. finally, i was in my 3rd room and the toilet bowl was constantly running. so at this point i stuck it out and had to shut the valve every night before i went to sleep.

WHAT A DUMP. Do not waste your money staying in a dumpy place like this.

I recently stayed in Somerset Hills Hotel, Warren, NJ - 07059 and had very unpleasant experience which I would like to bring to notice and possibly draw attention of concerned authorities. In my absence during daytime, there was money theft (from my hotel room) of approx 500$ which was kept inside my luggage. Upon noticing this and registering this with the hotel reception they showed very casual behavior and tried to pass it on to next day stating their managers are not available. Upon registering an FIR with police, the situation turned worse with manager clearly stating that now it is upto police deptt to take further action and no settlement can be looked at and refused to even question their employees.

It is extremely unplesant to see such inhospitable attitude from hospitality industry. Would strongly encourage to keep your belonging safe\locked if you planning to stay in this hotel chain.

We booked a room under a wedding party 2 months in advance and upon arrival were told that they we overbooked. We were sent to a sister hotel around the corner. No phone call or notice whatsoever. Poor customer service on the phone and in person. Don't waste your money!

I had misfortune of staying here two nights this past week. No gift shop if you forget items, no ATM that works, soda machines don't work on most floors (if so, don't ask desk for quarters they have none). No speakerphones in room phone for conference calls. At check-in you might get a young girl who can't even smile or say Hi. She too busy watching Jersey Shore in the back.

Night clerk seems like he doesn't know much about the area.

Cleaning crew will bang on door at 8am yelling house keeping because they want out of there by 11am. They should wait until 10am to start bothering guests that aren't checked out.

The hotel smells like puke in some hallways.

You might tolerate place if you were drunk after a wedding, but this is 3rd rate hotel

Better off sleeping in car if this is last hotel left with vacancies

The laundry staff keeps their front window open near lobby so everyone can see that operation. Super tacky for manager to let that happen

No service except the waiter in diner really did hustle and showed gratitude for business

Whoever owns this joint might go visit and see whet I mean !

Avoid at all costs - unless Free
