“Got our Money's Worth”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2013

Upon arriving on a dreary, raining afternoon I admit I was a bit disappoined. The place looked a bit rundown from the outside. As we entered we saw the tiny breakfast area. The woman at the front desk was friendly. We were put in a small room on the first floor. The room smelled badly as did the recently fumigated (I'm guessing) hallways. It's possible the new carpet was still off-gassing. Our safe was locked and we couldn't get it open. I called the front desk and the woman immediately came to the room and attempted to open the safe. When I commented on the bad smell and the fact that I don't feel safe on the first floor, she immediately offered to put us in a suite on the second floor at no extra charge. The suite was spacious and clean with two rooms both of which had flat screen TVs and closets. The added benefit of the second room was that one of us could work while the other slept or whatever.

The safe in this room also would not open and she explained to us that they had all been locked during the reservation. The poor woman got down on her knees and practically had to lie on the floor to plug in a digital box to get it open. From that point on she was very nice and friendly towards us. As it turns out it is a family run business and they are in the process of painting the outside of the building. However, due to the rain they have not been able to complete it. All the rooms have been nicely renovationed and updated.

It's true, breakfast wasn't much to speak of. There was no yogurt, only Activa, which I hate. There was only cereal and a few muffins and bagels. The coffee was hot and there was fresh milk. We grabbed a few bananas. It wasn't the kind of place where you wanted to linger or sit down while eating.

Overall, I thought it was a bargain! Everything was newly renovated. The woman at the front desk turned out to be lovely, and very helpful. Good location. I would recommend.

Room Tip: Ask for a different room if you don't like the one you're given. We were upgraded free of ch...

While not the most spacious or fancy, it had everything needed for a nice overnight stay. All furniture & carpeting was in excellent condition, good amenities,a big flat screen TV, a bit off the road so there was very little outside noise.

The staff was okay. Not real friendly but knew not rude.

The breakfast was skimpy. Only 3 bananas as fresh fruit, no peanut butter, no low cal syrup, no non-dairy creamer. There was a waffle machine and hot pre-made eggs and sausage. There is a WaWa nearby to get good, cheap coffee.

Very good stop for an over night stay, its location is easy to access with plenty of parking. The service at the front desk was great. Breakfast was very good with many choices and the checkout was very fast. Plus it is very Quite and very Clean!

For the second year in a row, we had to evacuate our town, with our pets, because of a hurricane. The owners could not have been more helpful and accommodating to us in our rather desperate situation. The facility itself is clean and attractive, including the lobby area and a pleasant breakfast nook. (Breakfast even included waffles and eggs and sausage.) Our room was spacious. clean, and well-appointed, including a refrigerator that held our emergency supplies, and a small microwave that we put to good use. We echo this comment in another review: "astonishingly elegant for the price". We have no hesitation in recommending the Comfort Inn in Vineland to anyone looking for a pleasant accommodation at a most reasonable price. (Almost forgot: there's even an exercise room with equipment.)

Room Tip: Call ahead for a reservation.

These people are rude crooks. We sent some employees who arrived very late at night (and called ahead to say they would be late) and they were made to wait 30 minutes after driving all night before they were even told they had no room. The front desk was very rude and not helpful at all. Top it all off, we were charged as a no-show when they would not give our folks the rooms. We ended up at the Ramada! Do not stay here.

All the staff from maids to receptionists were beyond helpful, they were accommodating. It is hard to find places of good quality for those with furry paws, but this comfort inn was astonishingly elegant for the price. It was a little slice of luxury on a long and dismal trip. I would suggest calling in advance before booking a room if you have a pet in toe. There few pet friendly rooms are ground floor by the back door for easy access to a quiet green space for your pooch, complete with convenient trash can for doggy bio. The rooms themselves are well worth shooing away your hesitation as to where to park it for the night. Fluffy comforters, polished stone on shower walls and counters, mini fridge, large heavy wood door, and indoor hallway access give the feeling of a high end experience. Buttery gold and rich burgundy give an exotic flare. They have wifi and even a computer and printer outfitted for customer use in the lobby. Just being 5 to 8 bucks more expensive then some other hotels that have do-it-yourself repairs and spider infestations you get the feeling of safety and clean comfort in addition to a touch of luxury and class. It's worth the 8 bucks to get above the rock bottom cheep hotels and they make sure your dollar stretches.

Room Tip: Call in advance if you have a pet. They have only a couple pet friendly rooms and it is important to...

The room was clean, the breakfast was good, the owners, friendly.....We noticed the foyer is nicely decorated. Green plants and lovely appointments add a comfortable feeling. We'll be back next summer from Florida to visit my aunt and we will stay at this hotel. We are seasoned travelers and stay in Choice Hotels throughout the US.

Room Tip: Be reasonable....they will certainly help you if they can
