We stop here on our annual (or more often) trip from the Washington, DC area to Maine, exiting the Garden State Parkway at Galloping Hill Road, to be practically right at the driveway to the restaurant. It is extremely convenient, and when coupled with good food and the very attentive service, the experience is both highly practical and enjoyable.
My wife's shrimp and pasta dish was first rate, my tomato soup was very good, but the osso buco was only quite good - not as tender as the best, but tasty.
