Knowing the history of the building and what it was used for and the architecture used in it's creation give thought to our history and how many cultures have contributed to the man who Trenton was named after.

This house with amazingly large rooms is the founding homestead of Trenton, Nj. Four rooms on the first floor, four rooms on the second floor, and the basement kitchen are all included on the tour. The spring house is not currently accessible. The garden is self-guided.

It is an enjoyable tour and worth the trip. It is very close to the Barracks museum and the NJ statehouse.

Thank Linda G

A guided tour paints a full picture of living here in colonial times. The kitchen gardens are wonderful.
