I stayed here as part of a group, the organizers of our group encountered lots of problems on the business end (room reservations being "lost," rooms being changed from two double beds to a king and a sofa bed, etc). My room, at least, was clean and comfortable. The bath tub of my colleagues room was not clean, but the front desk sent someone right up to clean it. They also provided her with a micro wave and mini fridge at no extra charge which was a very nice perk to have. The wireless internet in my room worked fine, but it did not work at all in my colleague's room even after spending an hour on the phone with the hotel's IT support. The front desk knew our room charge included the breakfast buffet, but the restaurant did not. And breakfast was pretty mediocre. The women at the front desk were always cheerful, polite and helpful. The bar was not very inviting and the bartender did not seem very professional. I think all in all, if I ever go back to Tom's River again, I would explore other options.More
