“A True Gem”
Reviewed May 29, 2012

Chef and owner Greg Manning and his lovely partner Jeanette have created a fabulous addition to our shore community. Our town was overrun with Italian restaurants that fell short of any creativity.
Greg stepped up and has planned a menu that truly enhances the palate. The atmosphere is warm and so is his loyal staff.

“pay the bill and get out!”
Reviewed May 10, 2012

Have to say the meal was delightful. The three of us had reservations for 5:30 and we were seated on time. We enjoyed an appetizer, our main meal plus dessert and coffee.

Around 7:30 our server asked us if we were ready to pay our bill. We were was still drinking our coffee so we said no. She came back within 5 minutes and asked again, again we were not yet finished. Then she sent another waiter over within another 5 minutes and asked us to pay our bill, he stated he needed our table. At that point the three of us gave our c cards and paid. We informed the waiter we can NEVER remember being told to pay and leave since they needed a table for additional diners. There were 2 people waiting and also a empty table for 2.

When we made our reservations we were not told we had a 2 hour limit. Never the less, we won't be back. Typical of a small town restaurant. In out travels, whether it be NYC, down the shore or out of the country no one actually forced us to pay and leave. A;though the food is good, there are so many other places where you can dine relax and chat. They just lost thebusiness of three families!

“Finally, a great continental restaurant in Tom's River without a new York price tag!”
Reviewed April 29, 2012 via mobile

While it's located in a strip mall, this is no pizza joint. the decor is nice & relaxing, the menu offers lots of great options, great seafood entrees and while we rarely order dessert, we shared 2 three ways. both were homemade and terrific. This is a BYOB & you do need to book a reservation week in advance.

“Small, intimate, great food and service...”
Reviewed April 5, 2012

Visited with friends last evening; Excellent service, atmosphere and service. The new menu is great - god choice of apps; salads and entrees 9ncluding some wonderful fish dishes. Desserts are OK - could use a boost. It's a BYO and very well worth the trip, You MUST have a reservation. The prices are moderate and the value excellent. Go for it!

“Best Restaurant in Toms River”
Reviewed March 28, 2012

Have eaten here numerous times, the food is FANTASTIC!!. The Rack of Lamb is the best that I have ever had. A little noisy but the food takes you to another level so you don't mind it. Always bring my company there and when they are in town, first place we head for.
