I love history and living in Bucks County is the best. I had a nephew visit recently and took him to the park. He actually was interested for a change. They do a great job

The Park is actually a series of park areas linked together between PA and NJ. Clean and green, there is ample amounts of green space and off peak times to picnic, bike, walk, or just go and read a book under a tree. Well maintained and very safe.

This is a lovely historical park. Unfortunately the day we arrived the visitors center was closed but it was very pleasant walking around, imagining what it was like when Washington crossed the Delaware.

another great local park. we have explored the area east of Rte. 29 & have found that we STILL have not seen all the trails. there is a big outdoor theather that we have heard there are plays at during the summer, so we may check that out. plenty of bike trails & from what i understand ... equestrian trails as well. have seen some camping areas as well, tho this is so close to home for us, it's not much of a get away.
this is a FUN park for kids of all ages :)

This is where Washington and his troops landed when they crossed the Delaware in December 1776. A great place for young people to learn about this important event in American history.
