On the surface, the hotel looks really nice. However, under closer review, the hotel needs much maintenance. The first room we were given had a broken front door which could be pushed open. The 2nd room was better but it had some issues. Main problem is curtains do not close in either the bedroom or the sitting area. Only the sheers close which allows passerbys to look into the room. Another issue is that the shower curtain in the bathroom does not close and water gets onto the bathroom floor making it very slippery. Both tvs were old and the picture was fuzzy.

On the positive note, the beds are were very comfortable and there was large fridge in the sitting room. The free breakfast was also good. There were fresh waffles, cereal, eggs, corned beef hash, hash browns and toast. There was a long line at the waffle machine because there is only one. The hotel is also close to the Parkway and Route 18 which was convenient.

Needed to be in the area for 3 nights. Tried to book a room at the Courtyard Tinton Falls but one of the nights I needed was sold out so I looked for other hotels close by. The rate was reasonable, front desk was nice & efficient upon check-in. First room was fine and clean except the floor of the shower/tub was broken. It appeared that someone tried to fill it with something and covered it with a rubber mat. Front desk offered to move us to another room and we accepted. Second room was fine and clean - really strong Fabreeze smell coming from wall a/c unit. The rooms are suites so there is a tv in the sitting area and a tv in the bedroom area. There were 3 remotes in the bedroom but only one of them operated the cable tv box, none of them operated the tv so you had to manually turn the tv off & on & adjust the volume - not a big deal, just inconvenient. TV in the sitting area also had to be turned on manually but the volume was all the way up and you couldn't turn it down - so we had to turn it off. Called the front desk who offered to send someone - after 2 more calls and 3 hours someone is supposed to be on their way. The TV stuff is just good for a laugh but a guest could get hurt on the whole in the tub.

Room Tip: Check your tub & tv's

I don't know what the negative reviews are about? This place is great! It's not the Hilton but its good for $100 less! Clean rooms...small kitchen with a dishwasher ....and a free breakfast! Only thing not good about the breakfast was the eggs....but I repeat ....FREE BREAKFAST! I stayed here twice and both times...a great stay....

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The suite beat our expectations. Two nice queen beds with firm mattresses, two televisions (one in separate living room, on in bedroom). Granite counter in bathroom. Nice, modern furnishings. Lobby was attractive as was breakfast area, where free breakfast is served. Breakfast included eggs, hash browns, sausage, bagels, danish, cereal, coffee and juice. Pool was small, but fine. Hot tub was warm, but jets were not working. Building outside looks nice. Inside atrium and cat walk to rooms was outdated. More like a cheap motel. Otherwise, a nice hotel. Good value. $77 using Travelocity. Would recommend highly.

I stayed in this hotel in June and again this August. In June I got a 2 queen bed room on the first floor and enjoyed it. The rooms are fairly clean and spacious. Every room has a seperate bedroom and living room with a bathroom in between. I really like this lay out and enjoy having 2 tv's in the rooms, and you don't have to lay in bed to watch tv, but instead can sit on couch!

In August I paid 119.00 and got a room with a Whirlpool tub, which works well but could have stronger jets. There were no instructions for the hot tub and we took about ten minutes trying to figure out how to keep the drain plugged. We did have an issue with the fridge though, in an attempt to save money, they shut off the refrigerators in the rooms when not in use. So when we got there it was warm and not untill the next morning was it fully cooled down, leaving us without cold refreshments all night long. They should leave them on so they are actually cold!!
We also had a small quibble with the tv and cable but it was fixed by Akash, from the front desk.
The breakfast is mediocre at best. It was actually very crowded and every table was full. The TV was not on which was dissapointing and the eggs were gross, just like they were in June. The sausage is okay, and the waffles are good too. There were other items as well along with juices and nearly empty coffee canisters.

Overall I would stay here again and would recommend it, but there are a few cons. They also rarely lock the doors so anyone can come inside and walk by the rooms. I do LOVE the open Atrium area between the opposing rooms, as you can smoke there and enjoy the cricket sounds on the benches, haven't seen this before at a hotel and really enjoyed it.
For the price its reasonable and right next to the monmouth mall! Also only 30 mins from Six Flags which is where we were coming from!
The pool is decent, a bit small but it is what it is. It is not HEATED or didn't feel like it anyway, and the Hot tub was broken on our Aug visit, it did work in June.
Hopefully they continue to work on the hotel and improve it, as its pretty decent. They could also use a new ice machine on the third floor, because it barely works!

Room Tip: Anyroom is decent, and hot tub room is affordable and enjoyable, but you don't get a desk!
